UFO Challenge for 2017 Do you have any UFO’s at home? Are they haunting you? My husband really thought that was a funny term until I explained it to him – UnFinished Objects! If you have projects started but not completed, then you may want to take our challenge. Here’s how it works: On January 7, 2017 at 1:00pm, bring in at least 6 UFO’s (projects started & not completed) in bins or plastic bags. We will take your picture with each UFO and post it to our bulletin board in the classroom. Each month following (February – July), bring to Clubhouse one of your finished UFO’s and you will receive accolades for completing your project and receive a badge to show for it. Finishing rules: Quilted, bound, labeled. You have nothing else to do the project! We will then move your picture from the “in progress” board to the “completed” board for everyone to see your accomplishment. What fun this will be! We at the shop will be competing as well because we have a bunch of UFO’s too! (Clubhouse meets the first Saturday of each month at 9am.) These badges may be used in many different ways. Make a sash (like the girl scouts), attach the badges and become the queen of UFOs. Or attach them to a tote bag to use as conversation starters. There are many creative ideas – can’t wait to see what you come up with! Wonder who will end up with the most badges? Registration fee for the challenge is $25 (to cover cost of printing pictures – we need them to be in color)! Are you up to it?
